For eight years, we have taught many students and welcomed many professionals and coaches into our studio space in North Asheville. While we have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Asheville, we have recently been granted the opportunity to expand our teaching and professional training business to multiple cities in North Carolina. In order to move forward in our careers both professionally and personally, we have made the difficult decision to close our brick-and-mortar studio in Asheville. The studio will remain open through the month of August in order to help teachers transition to new locations. In the meantime, classes will continue as usual.

In order to centralize our business, we will be moving to Charlotte in late 2022 but will continue to teach weekly private lessons in Asheville for our competing and performing students. We will also continue to host our annual competition, The Asheville Dance Classic, in early Fall each year.

Asheville City Dance will become part of our larger company, City Dance Co, which will offer student instruction and professional teacher training across Asheville, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Our new website will feature regular video and blog content - full of industry insights, dance tips, and interviews with some of your favorite professional competitors - as well as a membership-based online community for professional and amateur dancers.

We have been delighted to know all of you over the past eight years and it is our intention to remain active in the Asheville dance community for years to come. We are incredibly excited about this new chapter and want to thank all of you for your support.
